Dr Cheryl Silveira is a highly skilled and compassionate Gynaecologist and Advanced Laparoscopic Surgeon with over 10 years of experience in providing exceptional care for women's health. She is passionate about empowering women to take charge of their health and believes in providing a safe, supportive environment where patients feel heard and respected.

With expertise in managing a wide range of gynaecological conditions, from diagnosis, counselling and medical management, to complex surgical interventions when necessary, she is committed to delivering the highest standard of care.

Dr Cheryl specialises in minimally invasive surgery, and combines these advanced techniques with a personalised approach to ensure that every patient receives the most effective and tailored treatment options.

She completed her specialist training primarily at Westmead Hospital, Blacktown Hospital and Auburn Hospital. Her final two years of training were focussed on minimally invasive gynaecological surgery and experience in urogynaecology. During her final year of training she was also the Senior Registrar at Auburn Hospital managing and supervising junior Obstetric & Gynaecological doctors. Since finishing training she has been working as a Staff Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Nepean Hospital and as a Visiting Medical Officer Gynaecologist at Concord Hospital.

Outside of her practice, Dr Cheryl enjoys spending time with her two beautiful girls, travelling the world, appreciating good food with her husband and cake decorating. She believes in a holistic approach to health, which includes mental well-being, nutrition, and physical fitness.

  • Member of Australasian Gynaecological Endoscopy & Surgery (AGES)

  • Staff Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Auburn Hospital & Westmead Hospital

  • Visiting Medical Officer Gynaecologist at Concord Repatriation General Hospital

  • Completed a Fellowship in Gynaecological Surgery focussing on Laparoscopic Gynaecological Surgery and with Urogynaecology experience

  • Served as Senior Registrar supervising and coordinating junior doctors for Obstetrics and Gynaecology during her final year of fellowship at Auburn Hospital

  • Conducted research that has been published and presented in national and international publications and conferences
